Supporting Other Local Businesses

At times we are asked to deliver parts urgently after our carrier of choice, DPD, have made their daily collection. This is when we call on the fantastic Henfield Village Cars who, recognising the importance of the parts we manufacture, have happily provided an out of hours courier service for us, delivering throughout the UK.

Without the support of local businesses such as Henfield Village Cars, our customers’ vital production lines could be hindered.

Office Pods – The New Normal

We were very interested to see that one of our trusted suppliers have developed, and already turned around a new range of Office Pods. We all know the working environment will be changing once all industries, schools, shops are fully open again. www.fusionpartitions.com based in Surrey, have developed an exciting new range of pods that they are already installing into offices ready for the “New Normal”.

Coronavirus Update April 2020

At Grommets Ltd, a third generation family rubber moulding manufacturer based in Henfield, we weighed up the option to close our operation, but as it was apparent that many of our long standing customers were remaining open, and had sought our assurance that we would be able to keep their supply lines open, we were fortunate enough to be able to juggle our fantastic team around to ensure we could remain operational.

To ensure that Critical Manufacturing Infrastructure (CMI) parts are with our customers, our production team are proud to be able to prioritise those jobs that are highlighted as essential during the Covid-19 pandemic. We supply essential parts to many industries worldwide covering a vast diversity of industries including medical, military, transportation, sustainable energy and food supply chains. Everyone would be surprised where grommets, plugs, bungs and washers actually end up!

We are trying our best to fulfil orders; however we are operating with reduced staffing levels in both the factory and office.

Grommets Ltd. applauds and thanks the courageous front line workers tending to our health, well-being and keeping us fed. We are proud of our staff keeping our production lines running and that we are able to support the efforts of so many others in the battle against Covid-19.

Proud To Support The Kids Club at Henfield Leisure Centre

Grommets Ltd are proud to have recently supported Henfield Leisure Centre by donating 3 Amazon Fire Tablets to the Kids Club which provides essential childcare for children before and after school and during school holidays. Our Managing Director Jo Boorsma is pictured with Leisure Centre manager Simon Thompson and some of the children.

We are lucky to have a facility such as this in Henfield and it’s great to be able to show our support to the local community.
